Happiness Camp 2026 Granted the High Patronage of the President of the Portuguese Republic

Happiness Camp 2026 has officially been granted the High Patronage of the President of the Portuguese Republic, António José Seguro.

Considered one of the highest institutional distinctions granted in Portugal, the High Patronage is reserved for initiatives recognised for their national relevance, strategic impact and contribution to society.

For Happiness Camp, this recognition represents far more than an honorary distinction.

It is a powerful institutional validation of a movement that started with a simple but urgent belief: that the future of work, leadership and organisational culture must become more human, more sustainable and more conscious.

Over the last few years, Happiness Camp has evolved into one of Europe’s leading platforms dedicated to Human Sustainability and the Future of Work, bringing together thousands of professionals, leaders, institutions, universities and some of the world’s most influential organisations to debate the challenges shaping the future of society.

From mental health and burnout to artificial intelligence, leadership, culture, belonging, talent and sustainable performance, the conversations taking place at Happiness Camp reflect some of the most pressing issues facing organisations and societies today.

The granting of the High Patronage reinforces the growing relevance of these conversations at both national and international level.

It also reinforces Portugal’s position as an increasingly important global hub for dialogue, innovation and thought leadership around the future of work.

The 2026 edition of Happiness Camp will take place on September 24th in Porto, Portugal, gathering thousands of attendees from across the world alongside vice-presidents, C-level leaders and decision-makers from organisations such as Google, TikTok, Disney, Meta, Warner Brothers, Headspace and many others.

What once began as an ambitious idea has now become a global platform connecting companies, institutions and changemakers committed to building healthier, more sustainable and more human organisations.

This distinction belongs not only to the Happiness Camp team, but also to the partners, speakers, institutions, ambassadors and community members who continue to help shape this movement.

As the world continues to rethink work, leadership and human wellbeing, Happiness Camp remains committed to creating a space where these conversations are not only discussed — but transformed into action.

Happiness Camp 2026 will be held under the High Patronage of the President of the Portuguese Republic.
