TERMS & CONDITIONS

INTRODUCTION

ASSOCIAÇÃO HAPPINESS CAMP, VAT number 518 162 591, with registered office at Rua da Lionesa, 4465-671, Leça do Balio, Matosinhos, Portugal (hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer”), is responsible for the organization of Happiness Camp (hereinafter referred to as the “Event”), to be held in Porto, Portugal.

By registering for or attending the Event, participants agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions.

1. Event Overview

Happiness Camp is a conference focused on human sustainability, organizational culture, and the future of work. The Organizer reserves the right to modify the event’s date, location, agenda, speakers, or overall format whenever necessary due to operational or unforeseen circumstances. The content of each session is the sole responsibility of the respective speakers.

2. Ticketing & Third-Party Providers

All ticketing operations are managed through a third-party platform (3cket), which operates under its own terms and conditions. By acquiring a ticket, participants acknowledge that payment processing, ticket issuance, and access validation are handled by this external provider. Happiness Camp shall not be held responsible for technical issues, payment failures, delays, or errors arising from third-party systems, although reasonable efforts will be made to ensure a smooth experience.

3. Ticket Types & Access

Happiness Camp offers different types of tickets, each granting specific levels of access and benefits. The Free Pass provides general access to the event, including main stages, networking areas, and partner spaces. The Reset Pass extends this experience with additional benefits such as curated networking sessions, priority check-in, access to exclusive areas, and a limited number of masterclasses, as well as post-event learning content.

The Donation Pass includes the same access as the Free Pass while allowing participants to voluntarily support the mission of the event. The Corporate Pass is designed for organizations and may include multiple participant access, pre-event alignment sessions, premium seating, exclusive sessions, expanded masterclass access, certifications, and tailored support. Corporate packages may also include brand visibility and customized experiences aligned with organizational goals.

Each ticket type is subject to specific conditions and limitations. The purchasing entity, in the case of corporate access, is responsible for managing participant allocation and ensuring compliance with these Terms. Any misuse of access, including unauthorized sharing or exceeding agreed capacity, may result in cancellation without refund.

4. Masterclasses

Masterclasses are optional sessions that may be included in certain ticket types or offered as additional experiences. Access to masterclasses is subject to availability and capacity limitations. Participation may require prior selection, either during registration or through a dedicated platform after ticket acquisition. Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis or according to predefined criteria.

Happiness Camp does not guarantee access to specific masterclasses once capacity is reached, and participants acknowledge that availability may vary. The Organizer reserves the right to modify masterclass content, schedule, or speakers when necessary.

5. Accreditation & Access to the Venue

Access to the Event requires valid registration and credentialing. Participants may be required to exchange their digital ticket for a physical badge, which must be worn visibly at all times during the Event. Badges are personal, non-transferable, and valid for the entire duration of the Event. Loss or misuse of credentials may result in denied access.

Access to the venue is subject to capacity limits, and entry may be restricted after certain times defined by the Organizer.

6. Conduct & Participation

Participants are expected to behave in a professional, respectful, and responsible manner at all times. Any inappropriate, offensive, or disruptive behavior may result in removal from the Event without refund. The Organizer reserves the right to enforce these standards to ensure a safe and positive environment for all attendees.

7. Image & Media Rights

By attending the Event, participants acknowledge that photographs, videos, and other recordings may be captured. By participating, attendees grant Happiness Camp the right to use such content for communication, promotional, and institutional purposes, across digital and physical channels, without limitation.

8. Intellectual Property

All materials associated with the Event, including presentations, content, branding, and media, are the property of Happiness Camp or its licensors. Any reproduction, distribution, or use without prior written authorization is strictly prohibited.

9. Data Protection & Marketing

By registering for the Event, participants acknowledge that their personal data will be processed in accordance with the Happiness Camp Privacy Policy. This may include the use of data for communication and marketing purposes related to the Event and its ecosystem. Participants may unsubscribe from such communications at any time.

10. Technical Limitations

Happiness Camp relies on third-party providers and digital systems to deliver the Event experience. While all reasonable efforts are made to ensure reliability, the Organizer cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to all services and shall not be held liable for technical failures, connectivity issues, or service interruptions beyond its control.

11. Liability

Happiness Camp shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or injury sustained during the Event, except where required by law. Participants attend at their own risk and are responsible for their personal belongings and conduct. Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Organizer, its partners, and sponsors from any claims arising from their actions during the Event.

12. Food, Beverages & Age Restrictions

Entry to the Event is restricted to individuals aged 16 and above. The consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited for individuals under the age of 18. Bringing external food or beverages into the venue may not be permitted.

13. Changes & Cancellation

The Organizer reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel the Event due to unforeseen circumstances. In the event of cancellation, participants will be notified and refunds will be issued where applicable.

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Portuguese law. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Portuguese courts.
